Selama ini Google sangat mendominasi didalam kancah dunia Search Engine, oleh karena itu baru-baru ini Microsoft telah menyiapkan sebuah layanan baru yang bernama Bing. Anda dapat membukanya pada alamat www.bing.com

Kali ini Microsoft benar-benar serius dalam membangun proyek Bing, menurut laporan Advertising Age, Microsoft diperkirakan akan mengucurkan dana kampanya antara US$ 80 juta - US$ 100 juta USD untuk mempromosikan Bing agar dikenal oleh para pengguna internet diseluruh dunia.

Bing saat ini hadir dengan berbagai fitur -  menjanjikan membuat aktivitas seperti memesan tiket pesawat atau membeli barang tertentu menjadi lebih mudah dengan menelurkan hasil pencarian berdasarkan pencarian sebelumnya yang mirip.
Fitur menarik lainnya adalah ketika anda melakukan suatu pencarian, maka hanya dengan mengarahkan mouse anda akan mendapatkan informasi tentang situs yang muncul dari hasil pencarian. Jadi sebelum menuju ke situs yang dituju kita bisa lebih dahulu tahu tentang situs tersebut.

Sekilas Bing terlihat lebih menawan dan seksi dibandingka Google, karena Bing hadir dengan tampilan Wallpaper pemandangan sebagai latar belakang. Dan wallpaper ini terus berganti tiap saat. Namun Bing cepat dan ringan ketika dibuka, karena Wallpaper yang ada di load terakhir kali.

Namun untuk performa hasil pencarian Bing masih perlu diuji dan diprediksikan akan sulit untuk menyaingi Google dalam waktu dekat ini. Terlebih untuk para pengguna internet di Indonesia. Karena hasil pencarian untuk web berbahasa Indonesia BIng mesih tidak terlalu akurat dan masih sangat sedikit.
