Think Sony has not learnt from its mistakes by the recent sql injection attacks as Sony Europe now has been hacked by a Lebanese hacker 'Idahc' who posted 20 usernames, passwords (plain text), mobile phone numbers, work emails and website addresses. In his note on pastebin he states:

I was Bored and I play the game of the year : 'hacker vs Sony'." He posted the link to pastebin with the simple note "Sony Hacked: pastebin.com/OMITTED lol.

If you remember Idahc is the same hacker who targeted the Canadian Sony Ericsson site in May, 2011. The hacker used the same standard SQL injection techniques to decrypt customer passwords in plain text which was used by LulzSec group two days back.

It seems someone has put the spell that anyone (Sony) try to harm the hacker (Geohot) will be chased by the pharaoh's curse. Well, Sony's string of security problems could trigger more hackers to attack its networks. We will update you as and when we get more information on this.

Sony Pictures and Sony BMG hacked, 1 million user’s details stolen is a post from: Tech Mania.Check out more of the latest news by Subscribing to feed

A few days ago, a hacker group known as “LulzSec” claimed that they would launch a huge attack against Sony. It appears this group was true to their word as they have just released a large cache of data that was stolen from Sony Pictures and Sony BMG.In what they are calling “Sownage”, LulzSec claim that the whole hack was done via a very simple SQL injection, which gave them complete access to private data from over 1 million users. The data includes everything from email addresses and passwords to home addresses and dates of birth. Additionally, this data was apparently not encrypted also and has since been uploaded to various file sharing websites and torrents including thepiratebay.

Greetings folks. We’re LulzSec, and welcome to Sownage. Enclosed you willfind various collections of data stolen from internal Sony networks and websites, all of which we accessed easily and without the need for outside support or money.

We recently broke into SonyPictures.com and compromised over 1,000,000 users’personal information, including passwords, email addresses, home addresses, dates of birth, and all Sony opt-in data associated with their accounts.Among other things, we also compromised all admin details of Sony Pictures(including passwords) along with 75,000 “music codes” and 3.5 million “music coupons”.

This is yet more bad news for Sony, who have been suffering numerous data breaches lately, the most notable of which being the PSN attack which occurred in April of this year. Not all of the one million customer details have been leaked online, however a considerable amount has been released. The details of the hack have also been released and at the time of writing, it is still open, meaning additional customer details could be taken at any time. No matter what, Sony’s reputation is permanently damaged.

Contents of our plunder:

## Sony_Pictures_International_AUTOTRADER_USERS.txt ##– In this file you will find just under 12,500 customers of Sony;this includes dates of birth, addresses, emails, full names, passwords, user IDs, and personal phone numbers.

## Sony_Pictures_International_BEAUTY_USERS.txt ##– In this file you will find just under 21,000 customers of Sony;this is a simple email/password drop. Enjoy your account stealing.

## Sony_Pictures_International_COUPONS.txt ##– In this file you will find just under 20,000 Sony music coupons;please note that there are 3.5 million coupons to take – get ‘em.

## Sony_Pictures_International_DELBOCA_USERS.txt ##– In this file you will find just under 18,000 customers of Sony;this is a simple email/password drop. Again, enjoy your stealing.

## Sony_Pictures_International_MUSIC_CODES.txt ##– In this file you will find just under 67,000 Sony music codes;they’re like magnets, we simply have no idea how they work.

## Sony_Pictures_International_TABLE_LAYOUT.txt ##– In this file you will find the layout of the database;that means you can easily see where to steal things from.

Note that the database contains far more user information/couponsthan we took. The point is that we had control of them; all of them.We leave the rest up to you – steal as much as you want, go forth!

ADDITIONAL OWNAGE:

## Sony_BMG_Music_Entertainment_NETHERLANDS ##– This file contains the user database of BMG Netherlands;it’s around 600 usernames, emails, and passwords. Enjoy.

## Sony_BMG_Music_Entertainment_BELGIUM ##– This file contains the Sony admin database of BMG Belgium;also lots of barcodes, release dates, and other juicy ***.

If you have an account with any of Sony’s Pictures of BMG websites, it is strongly advisable to change your password immediately, however note that Sony will likely take down the sites soon, much like they did when the PlayStation Network was compromised.

Apple WWDC 2011 Event on June 6th – iOS 5,iCloud,Mac OsX Lion rolling out Apple Confirms is a post from: Tech Mania.Check out more of the latest news by Subscribing to feed

Apple has confirmed on June 6th you will witness the show off the new OS of iOS i.e iOS 5 and upcoming cloud services offering iCloud at the WWDC 2011 conference Moscone Center.Steve Jobs (along with other top officials) will deliver the opening keynote at the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 6 which starts at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (1 p.m. Eastern) on Monday, June 6.You will expect some good news on the iOS front with lot of bug fixes, over the air updates, new notification system etc.We also hear that will iOS will mimic Android-like widgets and also support for a wider range of voice controls too.As for iOS 5, the keynote will likely preview the new verion of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch OS for developers, with a consumer rollout presumably happening when the iPhone 5 is available for sale.

Mac OSX Lion(Version 10.7) is also expected to be talked about which is nothing but the eighth major release of of the OS X operating system. It was first revealed last fall at Apple’s “Back to the Mac” event, and many of its new features borrow heavily from iOS and will likely be the first OS update distributed by the Mac App Store. Coming to iCloud this would focus on what is called the music streaming feature. With Amazon and Google also in line with their Cloud Player and Google Music features currently, the iCloud feature is expected to help Apple give an upper hand over the rivals.

If you are following you might have read that Twitter is going to start its photosharing service soon leaping into its own photosharing service like yFrog and Twitpic.TechCrunch yesterday reported that they have heard from their sources that Apple will be a major partner with Twitter going forward, with the new photo service being integral to that partnership. The claim is that iOS 5 (yup, the same iOS 5 we're going to hear all about at WWDC) will feature its very own Twitter photo uploading integration straight from the current sharing menu inside Photos.app in a similar way to how we email and send to MobileMe.

Reports from multiple sources suggest that Twitter is likely to have a big-time partner for such a service: Apple. Specifically, We are hearing that Apple's new iOS 5 will come with an option to share images to Twitter baked into the OS. This would be similar to the way you can currently share videos on YouTube with one click in iOS. Obviously, a user would have to enable this feature by logging in with their Twitter credentials in iOS. There would then be a "Send to Twitter" option for pictures stored on your device. Thanks to Redmondpie and quotes from DaringFireball's John Gruber, leads us to believe such loveliness as Twitter contact syncing could also be coming to iOS, as that would obviously need Twitter  integration at a system and OS level. Other than that we're not sure what to expect – we're sure the boys from Cupertino have got something up their sleeves

So close to the bigger story, but yet so far. Imagine what else the system could provide if your Twitter account was a system-level service.
